Is it mid-August already?! It's crazy how quickly this Summer is flying by, especially when the Spring seemed like it was 10-months long. As usual I've found myself trying to cram as many activities as possible into June, July, and August. Between my garden, back deck, riding my new bike, and trying to squeeze some boogie-boarding in (the waves have been lacking for the most part at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester so far,) it's been plenty busy.
While the LIVE "BumbleBee Brunch" show has been on Summer hiatus, I have been very busy adding new music to the automated BumbleBee Radio broadcast. I try to purchase as much music for the station as possible either directly from the artist or on Bandcamp. I was very pleased to learn that Bandcamp has decided to continue Bandcamp Fridays for the rest of the year. If you haven't heard of this, on the first Friday of each month all artists on Bandcamp get to keep 100% of the money from the music they sell, as Bandcamp waives it's usual fee. With no one able to make a living off playing live gigs at the moment, this is a great opportunity to support music and add some great new tunes to your library! The next Bandcamp Friday is September 4th, 2020. I will be returning with LIVE shows in the very near future!
