Knock Knock: New Music! 8/3/2018
Welcome back to Knock Knock: New Music! It was early last year when I first shared a song from a band called Gaffa Tape Sandy. They’re a Garage Rock and Pop Punk trio, originally from Bury St Edmunds, England, who relocated to the English coast at Brighton.

Since getting together in 2015, they’ve released one EP and a number of singles. In 2017 they landed a slot in the Glastonbury Music Festival and have been very busy with live gigs ever since. Now we have word of a second EP: “Family Mammal.” That’s due out Friday August 9th on Alcopop Records and I have a track from it to share with you!
Infectious? Yes! Fun? Absolutely! The vocals on this tune bounce back & forth between guitarist Kim Jarvis and bassist Catherine Lindley-Neilson. For all its fun, though, the song does carry an important message... This from the band: "We wrote 'Headlights' as an open embrace to anyone who finds it hard to talk about their mental health, and to serve as a reminder to check up on your loved ones in this busy stupid world." The song’s called “Headlights” and it’s just been added to the Knock Knock: New Music playlist. Happy listening! -Kristen
