Knock Knock: New Music! 7/11/2019
Hi there it’s Kristen! Welcome back to Knock Knock: New Music! I took 4th-of-July week off, but it’s time to get back to work! We begin with Musician, Producer, and DJ Will Holland, sometimes known as Quantic.

He’s originally from England, lived in Colombia for a time, and now calls Brooklyn, NY home.
Travelling the globe exposed him to many different kinds of music and Quantic absorbed much of that, later adding splashes of jazz, funk, soul, disco, salsa, and more to his creations.
“Atlantic Oscillations” is the new LP from Quantic, out now on Tru-Thoughts Recordings. Here we find electronic and dance grooves paired with orchestral elements. Lush is a word that comes to mind after a few spins. This is definitely a great album for some really nice headphones or a Summer evening on the back deck. I’m going with a mesmerizing track featuring guest vocals from New York City artist, Denitia. It’s called “You Used To Love Me” and it’s just been added to the Knock Knock: New Music playlist. Happy listening! -Kristen
