Kristen began her radio career on Cape Cod in 1988 at 90.7 FM WKKL, where she served as morning show host and program director until 1993.  She eventually returned to host a Friday morning Indie Rock program from 2007 to 2013.  She was also a news anchor and operations manager for WXTK and WCOD before heading to Boston in 1997.

Kristen was heavily involved in the local music scene on Cape Cod from 1995 to 2005 as co-creator of the Subversive Green Rhino webzine. Specializing in live-audio recording and website design, she helped organize and promote several successful local band showcase nights at area clubs. Along with co-creator, Temple Frazier, she formed the Subversive Green Records micro-indie label.

In 2011 she started a six-year run as co-host of the Angry Mancave podcast with lifelong friend Pete Maguire. Together they produced 137-episodes that were downloaded thousands of times worldwide!

Kristen spends countless hours listening to music ranging from Indie/Alternative Rock, Psychedelia, and Progressive to Electronica, Trip Hop, and Jazz. She can also be found boogie boarding in Gloucester, gardening, hiking, drawing, and visiting record stores in her free time. Look for her at gigs around the Boston area engaged in another of her favorite activities: Photography.
