My Metacritic score: 10 out of 10. A+ I can’t say I ever expected to see news that Yeah Yeah Yeahs front woman, Karen O and genius musician/producer Danger Mouse (aka Brian Burton) were conspiring on an album together, but when I did I was thrilled beyond belief. What they promised in their press-release for “Lux Prima” (released March 15th on BMG) was an album crafted around a journey rather than a destination. They delivered a bulls-eye in the best tradition of journeys.

Welcome back to Knock Knock: New Music! I hope your holidays were full of joy & laughter. Now we get-on with discovering the musical wonders that await us in 2019! Each month I will begin a new playlist here and will fill-it-up with new songs that I’ve found and loved and decided to share with you!
